Social responsibility is an important topic for us. We turn our support to projects designed to help the sustainable development of the communities in which we find ourselves.
ASOCIATIA PASĂRI
This association has “adopted” 100 children with serious illnesses from Romania and transfers 10,000 euros monthly for these children – each child is allocated a scholarship of 100 euros per month. Since its establishment in 2018, the association has been involved in the education of 700 children in Romania. Our company’s contribution will be directed towards the educational scholarships of 20 children out of the total of 100 children mentioned above.
Vlad Pop, the president of the association, is an explorer and a warm-hearted man from Cluj-Napoca. In the last 6 years he has climbed peaks on all continents, ran 620 km in the Arctic Ocean and the toughest ultramarathons in the world, being the only athlete in the world to finish all 3 races in the 6633 Arctic Ultra, the toughest ultramarathon from the world.
AUTISM VOICE ASSOCIATION
The mission of the Autism Voice Association since 2008, is to develop and offer, at a national level, the best specialists and the best programs for the recovery and integration of children with autistic or behavioral spectrum disorders. The two therapy centers of the association are benchmarks of professionalism in Romania, and the multidisciplinary team of the association ensures optimal results in the recovery of the abilities of children with neuropsychic disabilities.
MARIA BEATRICE NON-GOVERNMENTAL ASSOCIATION
Maria Beatrice Medical Recovery Center was established in 2012, being recognized at a national level as a Reference Center for the treatment of neuromotor disorders, cerebral palsy, and trauma of children in Romania. Since 2017, the construction of the First National Pediatric Center has begun – A different kind of hospital for children with cerebral palsy, neuromotor diseases, and trauma that aims to improve the quality of life of as many children in Romania as possible.
FUNDAȚIA "FAMILIA SFÂNTĂ"
The charitable foundation runs two projects: the free polyclinic and the charitable-educational center “Love and Truth”. The free polyclinic offers patients free of charge, without discrimination, medical consultations, treatments, medical investigations, and medicines. The charitable educational center wants to offer an oasis of spirituality in the center of Cluj, a place of charitable and educational action, but above all a true school of Christian love. We stand by them and support their programs with interest.
DARUIESTE VIATA ASSOCIATION (#NoiFacemUnSpital initiative)
Daruieste Viata Association was founded in 2012 to fundamentally reform the Romanian medical system. The projects of Daruieste Viata Association change lives of children and adults with serious illnesses, of medical professionals who practice in hospitals in Romania. The most visible project of the association is the reconstruction of the Marie Curie Hospital so that all children in Romania with serious illnesses receive the same care as in Western Europe.
MOTIVATION FOUNDATION ROMANIA
Since 1995, Motivation Romania Foundation has been supporting children and adults with disabilities in the country. Their services cover a wide range of needs, from assessment and equipment adapted for different types of motor disabilities to active recovery and training for independent living with a wheelchair instructor, consultancy for space accessibility, and adapted sports. So far, Motivation has restored freedom of movement and hope in a fulfilled life for more than 26,000 people with disabilities in Romania. More information here www.motivation.ro
Grădința Malteză
The day center for children with neuromotor and related disabilities supports children with special needs, for whom they want to offer the most effective education and recovery programs. The vision of providing help, motivating and supporting the vulnerable remains in their daily focus. We are grateful for the collaboration with this wonderful kindergarten.
ASSOCIATION OF PREMATURE BABIES
The Association of Premature Infants develops in Romania programs dedicated to premature babies, parents, and medical staff from neonatology and brings together experts from different disciplines, parents, and representatives from the media to improve the quality of public health services in Romania. The organization runs charitable programs of donations in maternity wards, continuous education for medical staff, supports workshops and webinars for families with preterm infants, projects for the prevention of premature birth, and financially supports social cases of families with premature babies.
HOSPICE Casa Speranţei
HOSPICE Casa Speranţei was founded in 1992, and in time it has earned its status as the largest foundation in Romania that offers, free of charge, complete palliative care services to patients and their families. Through all the services offered, and through all the projects started, HOSPICE proved that valuing every moment of life is not just a motto, but a right that must and can be respected. In its 29 years of existence, HOSPICE has managed to bring hope and provide help, free of charge, for almost 45,000 patients with incurable diseases, but also for their families.
Arca lui Noe
Arca lui Noe Cluj is an animal protection association, with sterilization programs, that offers care for dogs in the shelter and through foster-care systems, as well as the promotion and adoption of hundreds of sterilized, dewormed, and vaccinated animals. The association also intervenes in emergencies, offering help in the case of injured, sick, or abandoned animals, demonstrating its commitment to the welfare and protection of all non-speaking beings in our community. The love of animals towards us and our love towards them is scientifically proven as a therapy. Whenever we can, we will support love.
Never Alone Association
Following an international model, implemented over the last 75 years in more than 15 countries around the world, the Never Alone Association– Friends of the Elderly mobilizes volunteers, resources, and communities to offer seniors a life with less loneliness. More than 300 elderly people from cities in 10 counties receive the volunteers’ emotional, practical, and material support every week. In addition, in the last two years, we have also developed community programs aimed at providing ways to spend free time with the elderly in 3 cities and we opened a socialization center in Bucharest that addresses the issue of loneliness, both through activities that make the elderly reconnect with contemporary society, but which also helps them find a new social circle. These programs have impacted over 300 seniors.
RINGIER FOUNDATION
The Ringier Foundation was founded in Romania in 2008 and aims to get involved in those areas and projects in which, we can change something. All the projects so far have approached the social sphere and, even before the establishment of this foundation, Ringier Romania initiated (or participated in) projects in the area of responsibility. Currently, the little sick are in the spotlight, because the chance at life is their first right. Since 2012 over 250 children have been supported in the fight for life.
